Technocracy of Paraplex
The Technocracy of Paraplex is an underwater nation based on a Nano Punk Melanesia culturally, powered by crystalized lightning (Ramiel) and heating mud (Arakiel).
It is governed by a technocratic government that uses compulsory drug use to control its population. The official language is Pa-Oo (Hiri Motu) using the Barbeliotic script, and its political and economic system is Communism. The capital is Eloiein (Bythosian city inspired by Port Moresby), located in Bythos.
It has extra-planetary colonies on Heimarmene and Horos, and extra-dimensional colonies including Jedediah, Abezethibou, Cocytus, Elysium, Sea of Suf, Shakah, The Mirkwood, and Wilweorthunga (Sea).
Its Pardes Laws are highly restrictive: Peshat are given drugs to hinder mental growth while augmenting physical/sexual capabilities and are brainwashed; Remez add sensory-enhancing substances; Derash are sexually prolific but detached; Sod receive beautifying plastic surgeries; and Partzufim get mental enhancers and are brainwashed.
Drakes/Drakainas and Archangels are treated as Partzufim, while Cambions are Peshat. Automata (cryptids, monsters, homunculi, golems, familiars) are considered property, and epimorphism is only for government officials. Mundane AIs are government property, and uplifted/parasapient tlavati are property of their creator/owner.

Paraplex is engaged in a hot war against Horaios and a cold war with Zalgo, while enduring raids from Choronzon and YEQON. Its Economic-Military Ranking is 26.
Its flag depicts a ring of six white moons on a black hoist and a golden lionfish silhouette on a red fly. Its anthem/slogan is “Song of Happiness”.
